Ian started VIP 15 years ago at the beginning of the mobile phone boom. The first phones he sold from his unit on Reform Street were the Motarola 8000x (aka The Brick). He then went on to open his first shop on Chanterlands Avenue and soon after opened shops in Anlaby, Beverley Road and Hedon. Eventually Ian decided to diversify from the consumer market to the Business market and moved his sales staff to the present location of National Industrial Estate. VIP Communications now handles over 7000 handsets for its many clients around the country, with the ever changing industry Ian has seen many changes from the Motorola 8000x to the very latest Blackberry Bold.
Dan Hubbert
VIP Communications General Manager
Dan has been with the company for 5 years, he originally started as part of the sales staff but then moved on to manage Carphone Installations. He has since moved back to mobile phones in March 2009. Dan’s role is the day to day running of the business, sales and customer service.
Elaine Hubbert
VIP Communications Company Secretary
Started the Business with Ian 15 years ago. Elaine deals with all the enquires between VIP Communications Customers and the mobile networks.
Jason Wood
VIP Communications Sales Manager
Jason is one of the company’s longest serving members of staff with several years experience in sales. Jason is the driving force behind getting new business as well as keeping his own customer base.
Lesley Pittock
VIP Communications Customer Services Manger
Lesley has now been with the company for nearly six years, in this time she has taken on longer serving customer accounts and now handles over 3000 handsets.
Louise Harrison

Louise has been with VIP for four years, she previously worked for another two mobile providers in the city before moving to VIP. Her role is new customer sales and account management. Louise has varied accounts from large haulage companies to small building companies.
Becky Smith

Becky has now worked for VIP for four years and started with the company at a tender age of 18. Her role is new customer sales and account management.
Lyndsey Cooper

Lyndsey started with VIP eighteen months ago, her first job was the company receptionist she then moved on as Jason Wood’s customer support. Her main role is to support Jason and generate new business.
Jason Hewitt

Jason is VIP’s new recruit he started at the beginning of June after a long spell with a local mobile phone provider. Jason has a vast knowledge of all mobile networks as well as a good understanding of VoIP (voice over internet protocol) his role at VIP is to generate new business from around the UK.
Paul Sutherland
VIP Communications Technical Manager
Paul started with VIP over 2 years ago when it was decided the mobile industry was moving into a new era of Blackberry’s and Windows based handsets. Paul has brought many qualities to VIP and enables us to keep up with a very IT based industry. Paul now has a number of companies of which he manages the IT contracts for as well as making VIP a certified Microsoft Partner.
